Classes

Classes open to ages 8 and up unless otherwise specified.

For instructor training class Level 1 and 2, please contact Coach Ricci for details.

All  students can attend the tournament. It is included in the Saturday class fee. For other students you may use a make-up class or pay $20.00. There is a once a year fee of $10.00 if you receive JOAD Pins. You must be a member of USA Archery to receive these pins. You have four weeks after the end of a four-week class to do a make-up and six weeks after the end of a six-week class. Please schedule that since classes may be full.

Drop-in Class
$20.00 for students enrolled in classes.
$23.00 for all others.

Introduction to Archery
for Recreational Archers

This is a four week class that will introduce the beginner to the basics of archery. In this class you will learn how to safely handle the equipment and to use proper shooting form. You will be shooting in the first class.

Level 1 Archery for
Recreation and Competition

This is a six week class and is open to archers who have either completed the four week introductory class or who have had some experience shooting barebow, recurve or long bow archery.

This class that will focus on safety, the steps of shooting and proper form. Classes 1 to 5 are 55 minutes long. In some instances, the 6th class will be a 2 to 3 hour actual competition where you will be able to earn achievement pins through USA Archery Junior Olympic Archer Development Program (JOAD). All students who are members of USA Archery will have opportunities throughout the year to earn achievement pins. See Calendar for schedule.

Please note that to earn JOAD achievement pins you must be a member of USA Archery.

This class is a six week class and is open to anyone who has been shooting for a year and understands the steps of shooting.

All classes are taught by USA Archery, National Field and Archery Association and Archery Shooter’s Association certified instructors and coaches trained in the National Training System (NTS) developed by USA Archery Olympic Head Coach KiSik Lee

Orientation Class
